ABOUT Esther Waitherero King’ori

Partner – Conveyancing & Securities Department

Esther Waitherero King’ori was admitted to practice law as an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya in 1998. She practiced in private legal practice until 2001, when she joined the Kenyan Judiciary as a Magistrate. Through dedication and distinguished service, she rose through the ranks to the position of Senior Resident Magistrate.

In 2008, Esther was appointed Magistrate in Charge of the Nairobi Children’s Court, a role she held until 2010, when she resigned from the Judiciary and returned to private practice.

With over 28 years’ experience, Esther oversees the Conveyancing and Securities Department at the firm, handling conveyancing transactions, documentation and registration of securities, legal opinions, and company secretarial services.

Special Areas of Practice

Esther has a strong interest and extensive experience in Conveyancing Law and Practice. Since joining the firm, she has successfully handled numerous conveyancing transactions involving:

  • Leases
  • Charges and securities
  • Transfers and transmissions
  • Assents and title registrations

Her work covers land titles across all counties in Kenya, with some transactions involving property values exceeding KShs. 500 million.
