Abel Githiri Kimani holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree from Strathmore University and was admitted to the Kenyan Bar as an Advocate in 2019. He currently serves as an Associate in the Dispute Management Department.

Abel has developed a robust disputes practice spanning commercial, employment, civil, and land litigation. He regularly represents clients before superior and subordinate courts, tribunals, and in alternative dispute resolution forums, offering practical, strategy-driven legal solutions in complex and high-value matters.

Commercial Disputes
Abel advises and represents clients in complex commercial disputes across sectors including banking, insurance, and contractual engagements. He has experience in litigation, arbitration, and mediation, and is adept at navigating high-stakes disputes with a focus on commercially sound outcomes.

Employment & Labour Disputes
He acts for both employers and employees in a wide range of employment matters, including wrongful termination, contractual disputes, workplace compliance, and labour relations. He regularly appears before the Employment and Labour Relations Court and leverages both litigation and ADR mechanisms to resolve disputes efficiently.

Civil Litigation
Abel maintains a strong civil litigation practice, handling contractual claims, debt recovery, and general commercial disputes. He provides end-to-end representation, from pre-dispute advisory to trial and appellate advocacy.

Land & Property Disputes
He has substantial experience in land-related disputes, including ownership claims, boundary disputes, land use conflicts, and recovery of property. He regularly appears before the Environment and Land Court, the High Court, and subordinate courts.

Abel has represented clients in alternative dispute fora, Magistrates’ Courts, the High Court, and the Court of Appeal. He has a particular interest in mediation and adjudication as effective and efficient dispute resolution mechanisms, and is committed to achieving practical, client-focused outcomes.
